Louise Swenson Pressed Over Frontenac Noir Skins
The first of many “little experiments,” we directly pressed Louise Swenson grapes over red grape skins that had been previously pressed to make a rosé. These skins brighten the acidity and texture, lending a pale pink hue like the warming sunsets that drift over our little hill on the East Shore of Grand Isle. As scientists we value experimentation, and it has been integral to our growth as farmers and winemakers.
